To a family used to a maid,life without one appears like all all fun's gone.The day dawns with so many chores staring at each person in the family,demanding to be done ;there's the kolam to be put,the milk to be brought in and boiled,dishes to be washed,dusting ,cleaning,wiping,swabbing,mopping,sweeping,,beds to be made,clothes to be folded,vessels to be arranged,clothes to be washed,dried,hung,brought in,folded,put away,floors to be cleaned,sinks to be washed,...and then cooking....thats another long list,menu to be planned,veggies to be cut,curds to be set,cook rice,chappatis,tiffen,side dishes,gravy dishes,without gravy,pickles,coffee,tea,..the list is endless...it appears the life of a housewife is a long list of drudgery...and yet,is that so?
Actually NOT!!!Yay!! And I discovered it during these maidless days...much of the work is actually created for the maid..now ,with no maid,people are neater,more responsible and especially children develop a better responsible attitude..So...its not so bad after all!!!
